The hotel offers on-site parking, a valuable convenience. My room had a lovely sea view, a good feature. I found the ground floor, including the restaurant, to be beautiful.

lovely décor interior design bus line
the interior design impressed, it featured lovely décor throughout. the hotel sat right on the 23 bus line which was quite helpful. nearby, i discovered several suitable restaurant options. the lounge and bar proved both comfortable and convenient.
the lifts were out of service and that caused some inconvenience. i had to manage stairs multiple times each day. this was a notable drawback for accessibility.

the breakfast offered good choices and included a variety of options. the restaurant's dinner menu presented well-prepared meals with decent portions. the bar staff was attentive, they ensured quick service.

Off road parking made vehicle storage easy and safe. the hotel's proximity allows quick access to southsea common. a bus stop is present just next to the hotel. It allows easy transfers.

friendly staff ideal location convenient parking
I found the staff friendly and helpful throughout my visit. the location was ideal with many attractions nearby, easy to reach. parking was convenient, right outside the hotel. It made coming and going simple, which i appreciated after long days.
The breakfast coffee needed attention. It tasted weak and the system for refills seemed inefficient. i often had to wait to get someone's attention for more coffee. this impacted my morning routine a bit, which i hope the hotel can address.

character fills this big hotel, and there is a park right outside. the building felt grand, and the location offered good views of the sea. i noticed that the lobby was decorated stylishly.

The hotel food was excellent, and the staff seemed efficient. i enjoyed the traditional english style here. however. Breakfast service experienced cups shortages, it seemed a bit disorganized. more staff attention could enhance this

Acceptable Stay with a Significant Issue
uncomfortable bed loud rumbling
The bar was excellent at this facility.
The room was in need of refurbishment and it showed clearly. The bed felt lumpy and was very uncomfortable. Noise from antiquated radiators and other loud rumbling noises further detracted from the experience.
